Colorado PGA Members,

If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of your fellow PGA Professionals and Associates, positively impacting our local Communities, and ensuring the future success of our industry, then here’s your opportunity!

Be an integral part of how our Section is governed, how decisions are made, and how resources are best used in support of our growth of the game programs and initiatives and service to our Membership.

Be part of the team that Influences, motivates and enables the continuous improvement of our Education, Finance, Marketing, Tournaments, Junior Golf, Membership, REACH Foundation, Awards and Historical committees, as we strive to adapt, innovate, and lead by example.

As we look forward, it’s our goal to assemble the strongest group of PGA Professionals possible from diverse backgrounds so that we can meet our goals. I’d like to encourage you to seriously consider joining us in our efforts by running for the Board of Directors at our upcoming Spring Business Meeting on Monday, March 29, 2021.

For those of you interested in running for the Board, please click here to submit your name. We will follow up with a few questions so that the membership can learn more about you. The election will be held at the Spring Business Meeting where you will have a chance to address those in attendance. The term of the position will begin at the Fall Membership meeting in 2021 and will conclude at the Fall Membership Meeting in 2024.

Those who are elected will receive incredible training and development, will be networking with some of the best and brightest in the business and will help shape the future of our Association. I appreciate those who have served in the past, those who are currently serving, and I look forward to working with those of you that commit to your future!

Ferguson Goes Wire-to-Wire to Capture 2026 Colorado PGA Women’s Championship

Lafayette, Colo., Sept. 8-9, 2026 – Stefanie Ferguson, PGA, entered the final round of the 2026 Colorado PGA Women’s Championship with a 2-shot lead and did enough over the final 18 holes to hold off a strong charge from Emily Shimkus and capture the title. Ferguson followed an opening-round 3-under-par 69 with a final-round 2-over-par 74 to finish the 36-hole championship at 1-under-par, four strokes clear of Shimkus and the 2025 Women’s Champion, Tara Morris, PGA. Ferguson was the only player in the field to finish the 36-hole championship under par.

Keffer Defends Title and Captures the 69th Colorado PGA Professional Title

Westminster, Colo. – Geoff Keffer, PGA Assistant Professional at Lakewood Country Club, entered Wednesday's final round of the 69th Colorado PGA Professional Championship with a three-shot advantage and ultimately needed nearly every bit of it. After producing the round of the championship on Tuesday, Keffer followed his brilliant 8-under-par 64 with a hard-fought 1-over-par 73 in Wednesday's final round at Walnut Creek Golf Preserve. “I just did not want to beat myself,” Keffer stated about what his game plan was heading into the final round. His three-day total of 7-under-par 209 was enough to hold off a charging Tristin Goodwin, PGA Instructor at ExperienceGolf, by a single stroke and secure his second consecutive Colorado PGA Professional Championship and fifth Section Championship of his career.
