Golf 2.0 Education Seminars Announced for the 2012 Denver Golf Expo

On February 9th & 10th, during the Denver Golf Expo, we are bringing important Golf 2.0 education opportunities to you. Below is the schedule for the education seminars. Hopefully you and your staff, General Manager, Owner, etc, can make it on either day as the training is pretty similar both days. We have made this opportunity as affordable as possible. The cost to attend is $75.00 for one (1) person from a golf facility and $100.00 for multiple people to attend from the same facility.

Ryder Cup Junior Academy Applications Due February 17th, 2012

The 2012 Ryder Cup Junior Golf Academy is scheduled for the week of July 1-8 and is limited to a total of 96 juniors (48 boys and 48 girls) each year. Each Section has the opportunity to select one boy and one girl to attend and participate.  The Ryder Cup Junior Academy is a seven-day program conducted at the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance in Port St. Lucie, Fla. with an emphasis on shot making, scoring, swing mechanics, competitive course management, technology, equipment, fitness and physical assessments. A good deal of the program is based on the Ryder Cup and learning from its rich history

Colorado PGA Hosts 2011 Colorado Golf Summit

Golf 2.0 Presentation

Darrell Crall, Senior Director of Golf 2.0 with the PGA of America joined the Colorado PGA and the rest of the Colorado Golf Industry for the 2011 Colorado Golf Summit.  Crall and our entire industry came together to better understand the challenges we face and how important it is for all of us to work together to retain and strengthen the golfing core, engage “lapsed” golfers, and drive new players. Additionally, Christy Dobson and 9NEWS presented their proposed ad campaign, Golf Colorado.
